The Drye Family/Amber's Maternity Session

I find myself liking family photography more and more.  I guess it's because I'm becoming more and more experienced.  In this session I got to combine a family session and my first ever maternity session.  I didn't take a ton of maternity photos, but I thought it was a good start.  I had fun too.  James is their little boy and he was so much fun.  His attention span was about 3 seconds long, so he kept me busy.











Since this session, Amber has had her twin boys Jacob and Jackson.  They're cuties too. :)

Hollis Anniversary Party

I've blogged before about my business partnership with Nealee Lawerence who owns the party planning business, Celebrate Everything.  I had a job with her a few weeks ago at an anniversary party for her grandparents.  Very nice family and I have to say congrats to her grandparents for 60 years of marriage.

Mary Katherine-Bridal Session

Can I just start out by saying how much I love Mary Katherine?  I have seen so many pictures of Mary Katherine with my cousin Jessica because they are best friends.  And then as I've mentioned before I got the pleasure of meeting her through Jessica.  I can clearly see why they are best friends.  One-They are almost the same person.  A few differences are there.  Two-I think Mary Katherine may be one of the most genuine people I've ever met.  I am not someone who has a lot to talk about when I first meet someone, but I was comfortable with Mary Katherine from the get go.  I felt like I had known her for years.  I called Jessica later and told her the same and thanked her for introducing us.  And I feel very blessed to be able to capture her special moments on "film".  If you follow my blog, you have already seen the engagement session with she and her fiance' Cody.  Now I finally get to post her bridals! 
I love Bridals, but I hate the wait in between the time they are taken and the time of the wedding.  I'm always very excited to unveil them, no pun intended.  So, to put an end to the waiting, here's Mary Katherine's Bridal's.


And I just personally have to say her dress was beautiful!  So far I think it's my favorite of all the weddings I've done.

Ferrell/Thompson Wedding

I was asked by a friend to come and shoot some detail photos for a wedding that she was planning and I jumped at the chance.  I might have said this before, but detail photos are my favorite.  I have complete freedom to shoot what and however I want.  No pressure at all.  It's really nice.  The colors were black, white, and green and Nealee did such a great job planning everything.  She has her own party planning business, Celebrate Everything.  You can find her on facebook.  Here's a few shots.

Poole Kids-2011

I haven't gotten a good picture of all three of my kids in forever.  I think I've actually only gotten one in two years.  That's how much they are sick of me trying to take their picture.  But, I did however manage to convince them to let me take their pictures individually.  And it didn't turn out bad.  I thought it turned out great.  But I could be biased. :) 



















My kids have grown so much in the past year, it's crazy.  They did so well for this shoot, I'm tempted to try it again in a few months. :)
