I have blogged about my cousin, Jessica, and her fiancee, Daniel, so I don't need to go through the story again.
But when Jessica told me what type of engagement pictures she wanted I was very excited. Her words were "modern and hippy". I was curious to see how the two combined were gonna come out. I have to say I am very pleased with the results. She had showed me some examples and I was going to do my best to give her what she wanted.
I found out from another photographer friend that she had a great antique love seat that she was more than willing to let me borrow for the day. I told Jessica about it, but I don't think she was really prepared for it. As soon as Daniel picked it up and showed her, she called me and was so high pitched because she looooooved it!! I was excited to see how we were gonna use it.
We basically just put the couch in the middle of a field and started shooting. I now can say I'm gonna buy a love seat similar to this and I'm gonna make sure it's red.
This post might be a bit longer than any normal post, but then again, I could be wrong.
I just LOVE the contrast between the red couch and the green grass.
After the field, we moved onto an old house that belonged to someone in Jessica's family. We drove for a while to get here, but it was well worth the drive.
There was an old barn there and I think I just might be in love with it. You just might see it pop up in future photos.
The next 2 are in two different places. Another old barn that was on the property, and then Jessica knew of another field. This field was different than the first because it was grown up with not only grass, but some yellow flowers. Fake maybe??? I'll never tell.
If you look closely, you can see the rain.
Then off to a local town to get some more "modern" pictures.
I just have to say, I love Daniel's face in the photo above. It's an "uh-oh, I just might be in trouble" look. Hehehe...
Ok, I love Jessica's face in this one. It's says, "I'm so in love..."
PS...I love feet pictures with a passion, but this is not to be confused with a feet fetish!
Now the next photo is strictly for comical effect. They are a hilarious couple and the next one shows that.
I had the best day with these two, and got to spend time with Jessica, who is basically my sister! She and Daniel are amazing people and I can't wait to do her bridals and their wedding.

Amanda and Blake's Wedding
You've seen Amanda's Bridal Session and you seen Amanda's and Blakes Engagement session and now it's finally here. Their wedding! Yay!!!
The day started off at 971 Salon where Sonya did Amanda's hair, and Tracy did her make-up. They did an amazing job and I recommend them for your wedding day if you plan on getting married soon.
Right before Amanda got the details of her make up put on she has a slight crying bout. But I think she was entitled. It was, after all, her wedding day.
After hair and make up was done for everyone we all headed over to Chelsea's house to get ready. It was kinda chaotic because not much time was left. By this time I think Amanda was just ready for the actual wedding part to be over. For me it was just beginning.
Not to long after I got to Chelsea's house I got a call. It was Blake calling to say that he and his guys were getting ready. So hopped in my car and drove quickly to his house.
All of the guys were laid back and not nervouse. Beers and laughs were being shared all around.
We were supossed to start pictures about an hour and a half before the ceremony, but there was a miscommunication and by the time everyone was ready we only had about 15 minutes or so. But we did get some groom's men's pictures in.
Now for the main event.
And of course we took care of Bridal party pictures afterwards.
Next of course came the reception, which was a huge party! Everyone, including myself, had such a great time. I got tons of pictures of family and friends dancing the night away. I wanted to blog all of them, but then this post would just be way to long. I'll just post a few of my favorites.
The Bride and Groom right after they got there.
The cake and all that stuff. I think this might be the best cake picture I've ever gotten.
And now to the dancing.
After a long night of dancing and having a fantastic time, it was finally time for the bride and groom to leave. Amanda chose to have sparklers lite as she and Blake were leaving.
All in all we all had a great time and I wish the bride and groom the best and all the happiness in the world. Maybe I'll get to take pictures of their babies one day...Who knows???
