The weekend of the 1st of May I got to be apart of Alan and Allison's wedding day. It was least to say interesting. The ceremony went off without a hitch but outside was a whole other story. Right as it all started the tornado sirens were going off. It was definitely scary. And as soon as the ceremony was over we were all ushered quickly to the sanctuary because the tornado was "right on top of us." Not exactly the phrase I want to hear. While we were in there I led everyone in prayer, praying for safety. And God is truly amazing because right after I prayed it got better. The tornado was gone and another was supposed to hit in another 45 minutes. Never heard from that one. I did however get some great pictures. This was the first wedding I got to participate in in a year. But I have been studying, reading and doing lots of research.
We were supposed to start taking pictures at 1:30 but we all know how weddings go when it comes to being on time. I haven't been to one that's started on time anyway. But I got there around 1:15 and decided I'd look around and maybe snap some pictures before.
And of course I got the traditional dress, shoes, rings pictures. Her dress was beautiful. Well really everything was. I loved loved loved her shoes. I am quite a shoe person myself.
Of course I have to include the collage for this entry. So here it is. :)
